This lesson makes the case for Jesus’ resurrection by stressing the apostles’ commitment to dying for their faith.  Aside from Judas, they were all eyewitnesses of Jesus’ resurrection, and twelve of them (including Matthias and Paul) were martyred because they wouldn’t renounce it.
